Background / History
Eighty-one years ago, in January 1928, a small, but fervent group of believers met to start a new church in London.   Through much personal sacrifice a former mansion at the corner of Queens Avenue and Adelaide Street was purchased and renovated by this group.  This became the home of Central Baptist Church for the next 75 years.  In April 2003, the church celebrated by moving into a long-awaited new facility north of Fanshawe Park Road on Highbury Avenue.  At that time the name of the church was changed in order to identify with the community where it is located, and so today we are known as Stoney Creek Baptist Church.

Over the past 81 years, thousands of people have been impacted by the ministry of this church, from children to senior citizens.  A passion for missions has always been a vital component of our ministry.  We are affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada.
