The goal of the Women's Ministry of Stoney Creek Baptist Church is to glorify God by providing opportunities for encouraging, equipping and mobilizing the women of Stoney Creek Baptist Church for evangelism, discipleship, leadership development and service to others.

ON THURSDAY JULY 29, WE'LL BE ENJOYING A SPECIAL EVENING WITH SALLY AND MICHÈLE PHOENIX. COME AT 7:30 P.M. TO ENJOY A DESSERT AND A CUP OF TEA OR COFFEE, THEN LISTEN TO SALLY AND MICHÈLE AS THEY SHARE WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON IN THEIR LIVES AND HOW GOD IS LEADING IN THEIR FUTURES. DON'T MISS THIS WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY AN EVENING WITH THESE 2 SPECIAL WOMEN!

Except for the very special evening noted above, all of the organized events for Women's Ministry have concluded for the summer. Our Women's Ministry team will be busy over the next 2 months, planning for the Fall. Leaders from Ladies Bible Study, Cover to Cover, Women@Work, Evening Edition, even the Christmas Tea, will be organizing, planning and praying for fall programs. Please pray for Barbara, Deb, Sandra, Brenda and myself plus the leaders from each of the women's ministries, as we earnestly seek ways to make the Women's Ministry of Stoney Creek effective and relevant.
We wish each of you a great summer, filled with the things we Canadians don't get to do year-round. So, go to the park, ride your bike, splash at the beach, barbeque some burgers, play soccer, and enjoy family get-togethers. Perhaps read a book that will challenge, encourage or inspire you. Take time to thank God for His wonderful creation, our beautiful country, your health, your friends, your family, your church. Pray that God will touch your heart this summer and in the absence of organized activities, spend some extra time with Him and in His Word. "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." Ps. 107: 1
