Christmas Offering 2024

Standing Together with our Ukrainian Brothers and Sisters

It has been over two years since the war between Russia and Ukraine began. Many lives have been lost or drastically impacted by physical wounds or the loss of loved ones. Ukrainians have been displaced by the fighting and many have left the country to live as refugees in neighbouring countries and across the world. Life on every level has been affected, and with each year that the conflict persists, winter brings with it additional hardship.

For our Christmas project this year, we want to stand together with Ukrainian and Polish churches who are ministering to the holistic needs of displaced Ukrainians.

In partnership with FAIR (Fellowship Agency of International Relief), we'll be participating in their Stand By Me appeal.

Your gift of any size will make a difference:

  • $25 for Christmas gifts for orphaned or abandoned children
  • $50 for food and essentials for displaced families
  • $500 for a family healing retreat
  • $5,000 to purchase a tiny home

There are three ways to give to the Christmas project:

  1. In-Person on a Sunday morning: Place your gift in an offering envelope and label it "Christmas Offering 2024".
  2. E-Transfer to donations@stoneycreekbaptist.com. In the ‘notes’ field, please indicate "Christmas Offering 2024" and provide your address for tax receipt purposes.
  3. Credit card gifts can be made through this link. Simply select "Christmas Project 2024: Ukraine" from the dropdown Fund list.
