Our Family Values
A family that is committed to Christ (Gal. 2:20; Phil. 1:21), His Word (2 Tim. 3:16-17), and to one another (Rom. 12:4-10; Eph. 1:15-23; 2 Thess. 3:1)
A family that regularly prays together (Acts 2:42; 4:24-31) and for one another (James 5:16; Acts 12:5).
A family that is welcoming and hospitable, gladly opening our homes to one another (Rom. 12:13; 2 Pet. 4:9; Acts 2:46).
A family that cheerfully and generously gives, with open hands, caring for the needs of others (2 Cor. 8:12-15; Matt. 6:19-21; Acts 2:45).
A family that encourages one another with words (Heb. 10:24-25; Eph. 4:19), through reading Scripture together (1 Tim. 4:13; Heb. 4:12), and by singing together (Eph. 5:19; Ps. 5:11; 96:1-2).
A family that shows grace in failure (Col. 3:13; Luke 6:36).
A family that bears one another’s burdens, holding each other up in trials and in crisis (Gal. 6:2; Col. 3:13).
A family that equips one another in the ways of Jesus: Disciples reproducing disciples (Matt. 28:16-20; 2 Tim. 2:2; 1 Cor. 11:1).
A family that willingly and joyfully lays down our lives for the sake of others (1 John 3:16-18; Luke 9:23).
A family that looks out beyond ourselves, that the gospel would be made known among the nations (Ps. 67; Mark 16:15; Rom. 10:13-14; Matt. 24:14).
