A family that encourages one another with words (Heb. 10:24-25; Eph. 4:19), through reading Scripture together (1 Tim. 4:13; Heb. 4:12), and by singing together (Eph. 5:19; Ps. 5:11; 96:1-2).

A family that shows grace in failure (Col. 3:13; Luke 6:36).

A family that bears one another’s burdens, holding each other up in trials and in crisis (Gal. 6:2; Col. 3:13).

A family that looks out beyond ourselves, that the gospel would be made known among the nations (Ps. 67; Mark 16:15; Rom. 10:13-14; Matt. 24:14).
